Podiatrists treat calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs and arch problems. They also treat foot and leg problems associated with diabetes and other diseases.

A minimum of 90 semester hours are required for admission at most podiatry schools. However, the majority of students entering podiatry school have a baccalaureate degree. Pre-Podiatry program is intended to be completed concurrently with a bachelor's degree.
